About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, automating, and supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure environments. This role requires expertise in Azure infrastructure, Microsoft Entra ID, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud security, and DevOps automation.
You will work closely with development, security, and infrastructure teams to build secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions while driving automation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure following organizational standards and best practices.
Configure and manage Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, and Platform Services.
Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including:
User and Group Management
Conditional Access Policies
Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Identity Federation
Implement and manage cloud security controls to meet enterprise and regulatory compliance requirements.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Bicep.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration management.
Build and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Implement policy-driven governance and security automation.
Configure identity-based authentication and authorization for applications and services.
Support backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability solutions.
Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and security using Azure monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, networking, and platform-related issues.
Conduct security assessments and remediation activities.
Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and deployment procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable cloud solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
Experience with:
Azure Virtual Networks (VNet)
Network Security Groups (NSGs)
Load Balancers
VPN Gateways
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Azure SQL Database
Azure Functions
Azure Data Factory
Azure Storage Services
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep.
Experience with automation tools and scripting, including:
PowerShell
Azure CLI
ARM Templates
Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, governance, and compliance frameworks.
Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
