About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to lead and scale our cloud practice. The role requires strong expertise across multi-cloud environments, cloud architecture, infrastructure modernization, automation, security, and team leadership.
The ideal candidate should be capable of driving cloud strategy, building scalable and secure solutions, mentoring high-performing teams, and aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Strategy & Architecture
Define and drive cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, GCP, DigitalOcean, and bare metal environments
Design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures
Lead cloud adoption, migration, and modernization initiatives
Prepare architecture documentation and conduct client walkthroughs
Cloud Infrastructure & Networking
Architect networking solutions including VPCs, VLANs, NAT Gateways, and custom networking configurations
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance optimization across environments
Migration & Modernization
Lead migration of Linux and Windows workloads to cloud-native or hybrid environments
Drive application modernization using containers and microservices architecture
Containers & Kubernetes
Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes-based containerized environments
Define and optimize orchestration and container management strategies
Data & Integration
Manage SQL and NoSQL database migration initiatives
Implement caching and streaming platforms such as Kafka
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform and other IaC tools
Build reusable infrastructure templates and best practices
DevOps & CI/CD
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
Define branching strategies and promote DevOps best practices across teams
Observability & Monitoring
Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Grafana and Prometheus
Ensure proactive monitoring, issue detection, and performance tuning
Security, Compliance & Governance
Establish cloud security standards and best practices
Drive SecOps initiatives and integrate security into DevOps pipelines
Ensure compliance with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks
FinOps & Cost Optimization
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs
Implement cost governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms
Content Delivery & Performance
Design and optimize CDN strategies for high-performance applications
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Build, mentor, and manage high-performing cloud engineering teams
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align solutions with organizational goals
Provide strategic guidance and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams
Required Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience across AWS, Azure, GCP, and multi-cloud environments
Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, and architecture principles
Expertise in Kubernetes, containers, and microservices architecture
Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
Expertise in SQL, NoSQL databases, and migration strategies
Experience with monitoring, observability, and logging tools
Good understanding of FinOps, SecOps, and GRC practices
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Good to Have
Experience with Akamai and Linode
AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications
Exposure to large-scale hybrid and multi-cloud environments
Experience Required
12+ years of IT experience with significant exposure to cloud architecture, infrastructure, and leadership roles
